This woman surrendered to the police and admitted she hacked to death her husband's alleged mistress. On March 23, 2017 Capillan residence was allegedly attacked by Justina Orfilla 39-years-old.
Police said the suspect, armed with a 20-inch long bolo, repeatedly stabbed Jessa Capillan in front her children. The victim was later on found dead and bathing in her own blood inside their house. She sustained 26 stab wounds on the back portion of the head, nape and shoulders.
According to the police investigation, the suspect recently confronted the victim after seeing the latter talking to her husband. The suspect had a hunch that Jessa and her husband are having an affair. But according to police investigation, the suspect reached her boiling point the next day after receiving a letter from the barangay inviting her to patch gaps with Jessa.
To this date, while waiting for the court's issuance of commitment order for her to be transferred to Bureau of Jail Management and Penology in Quezon.
The susupect is detained at the Lopez Municipal Police Station and is charged with murder.
