A 16-year-old girl was allegedly raped more than 20 times. The suspect her uncle.
According to the victim, the repeated crimes were carried out inside the house of her aunt where she resides.
Based on police investigation, the crime first happened on November 9, 2014. The rape, said the victim took place most every night for 21 days.
The victim tried to confess to her aunt but the latter just didn't believe her. Three months after, the minor braved his uncle's threats and went to Orani police to file a criminal complaint.
The results of her Medico-Legal Examination showed visible lacerations on her genitalia. 21 counts of raped was filed against the suspect making him one of the most wanted in Bataan.
On August 1, 2016, the court issued warrant to arrest the suspect but the police not find him house. Two year after Orani police received an information on the whereabouts of the suspect.
On March 14, 2017 the police arrested him. The suspect's camp belies the accusation. The victim's aunt believes her niece filed a criminal case against her partner because the suspect wanted to send the victim back to manila. Aunt said, "her accusation are not true. She's just brave enough to file a case because she is a minor".
The case still ongoing. The court has yet to make its verdict. For now , the suspect is still considered innocent.
