A newly give birth mother was released with a maternity pads in her body. The doctors were putting the blame to each other because of what happened. Roxan did not expect that her life was on danger after giving birth to Sacred Angel Maternity Hospital, a private hospital in Caloocan City.
Roxan said that if it wasn’t know early, her child might not have a mother anymore and doctor should take the responsibilities for what happen to her, because she suffered too much.
She was an early wife and mother at the age of 18. Even though her husband is only a tricycle driver she tried to save some money so that her baby will burn on a descent private hospital. Roxan said that she choose that particular hospital because they offered her a lots of thing to pursued her to choose their hospital and she think that she will be safe there because of that.
On the 19th of October last year, when Roxan’s tummy ache sign that she will give birth already. Her husband, immediately bring her to Sacred Angel Maternity Hospital where she had a normal way of giving birth with the help of Dr. Cesar Paguio. Said that there wasn’t any problem to her that’s why she were released by the substitute doctor of Dr. Pguio, Dr. Americus Rocina, but when Roxan went home her tummy ache frequently. She thought that it was normal to happen because she was a newly give birth to her baby boy.
On the 3rd day of midnight that month, she feels very cold and pain. Almost five days of suffering and she notice that she can smell a very bad odor from her body. It was a decayed blood.
25th of October when she was brought to Dr. Jose N. Rodriguez Memorial Hospital because of severe pain of her tummy and that’s the time were they learned that Roxan has a maternity pads on her body. It was used to lessen her blood after giving birth. Roxan was angry because Dr. Paguio didn’t remove the pad from her before sue-wing her. For how long the napkin that was stuck from her was been decayed inside her.
Luckily, Roxan has a strong health that’s why she’s still a live, if she wasn’t strong enough after only three days when she was released she will die.
When the Sacred Angel Maternity Hospital finds out that Roxan and her husband were always going to their clinic to give action for what happened to her, they refuse to state any comment and face Roxan. Roxan furious about is the said doctor who help her give birth was still on duty on the said hospital. A clear violation of law of the Reverse Rules on Administrative Cases in the Civil Service Section 26 that said to suspend the accused individual because of the investigation.
A text message was sent to Roxan by Dr. Cesar Paguio said that he is not the only one to blame but also the doctor who give the permission to release Roxan from the hospital who is Dr. Americus Rocina. Dr. Rocina also defended herself by a text as well. She said that Dr. Paguio doesn’t tell her or the nurses even the midwife about the patient and he doesn’t tell about the maternity pads left from Roxan.
Roxan’s dicision was final, and she will file a case against Dr. Paguio because of what happened to her.
