On the 1st March of 2000, John Price 45 year-old was found brutally killed by his own partner, Katherine Mary Knights a 49 year-old woman in Aberdeen, New South Wales 3 kilometers away from Sydney. It was not just a murder but a worst of the worst, brutal of the brutal killing incidents. His body was found piece by piece cause by a 37 stabs and countless chopping.
The crime was found out when a prank call was receive by Scott Matthews a general duties officer of New South Wales police. He and Graham Furlonger, former sergeant of New South Wales police went to John Price’s house to check what it’s all about. The front door was locked so they decided to enter using the back door. When they got inside, a stinky smell embraces them. Way to inside, Scott use his left hands to walk in the dark and suddenly he felt something cold on his left hands when he check what is it he saw blood dropping from above. They continue searching for Mr. Price and they saw a horrific seen they don’t expect to see. They saw lots of blood everywhere; head hanging in the door, a pot in the stove, a bloody knife and floor and a meal prepared in the table.
John Price was describe by Scott as a hardworking and a reliable man and don’t expect to see him brutally murdered by a person they don’t know yet. Both officers are still not aware if the victim was still in the house. As time goes by, they here a snoring voice and follow where it comes from. The snoring sound brings them to a bedroom and they found there a sleeping woman. They tried to wake her up but it doesn’t responding. They immediately call an ambulance to get the woman to the hospital.
The day before his murder he talked to his friend that was his final comment that shock all the people that knew him after the incident, he said, “If you saw my van out in front of my house in the morning when you get to work, call the cop she done me in.”. That’s the time when Scott and Graham went to the crime scene and find out what happened to John Price.
Katherine works in a slater house for years as a general laborer in 1971 and progress to work in an awful room where she carcasses an animal for honing her skills as a slicer in the room for over a decade. One of the psychiatrists who checked her said that Katherine had possession for death.
Till the very end they don’t find out where the money goes and Katherine Mary Knights was sentenced as the very first woman who was judge for imprisonment for the rest of her life.
