Security guards were hired to protect citizens from criminals. We trust them and approach them when we need help because it’s their duty to help us but there were three security guards from UPLB who did a crime. They hurt someone than to protect it.
Two students were abused by three security guards of UPLB. The victims named Cathy and Edna their not real name. They were angry and afraid because the officers that should be the one who will protect them are the one who abused them. The suspects for the crime are Rodrico Landicio, Roberto Kanyete, and JV Tayzi.
Cathy thinks that their campus was a safe place for a student like her but all of a sudden her campus became her nightmare place. She said that she was just walking inside the campus alone when someone pointed knife on her. She was shocked and afraid at that time. She doesn’t know what to do. And when she recognized the suspect she was angry because it was the three guards of their campus. And the sad thing is she was abused inside her own school.
Edna was just walking outside their house when someone pointed her knife and she was forced to go inside the car. She can’t do anything. She doesn’t have any strength to fight back because they were armed. And the three guards abused her inside the car.
This crime just makes citizens afraid from officers like them. It’s hard to trust someone because even the persons who should protect you are the one who would hurt you. This kind of thing should stop. The government should make an action so that all of the officers who violated rules should be punished.
